Live WireSwish Raises $24 Mn To Expand Quick Food Delivery Network
This is worth watching because it affects how founders, investors, and operators read the next business cycle.

Swish has raised $24 Mn in a funding round led by Bertelsmann India Investments, with participation from existing investors Accel, Bain Capital Ventures, and Hara Global.
The funding gives Swish more capital to expand its kitchen-led model even as rivals have struggled with the high operating costs and uncertain economics of ultra-fast food delivery.
Swish plans to enter new cities and build a network of more than 1,000 kitchens over the next five years.
Existing investors Accel, Bain Capital Ventures, and Hara Global also participated in the round.
Swish plans to use the funding to deepen its kitchen network across its existing markets, expand into new cities, strengthen its supply chain infrastructure, and increase its order-handling capacity. The startup is looking to build a network of more than 1,000 kitchens over the next five years.
The startup claimed that its monthly order volume has tripled since March 2026 and crossed 1 Mn orders.
Founded in 2024 by Aniket Shah, Ujjwal Sukheja, and Saran S, Swish owns and manages its kitchens, technology, and last-mile delivery operations. Its neighbourhood kitchens typically serve customers within a one-kilometre radius.
The startup promises food delivery in around 10 minutes and currently operates across Bengaluru, Gurugram, Noida, Delhi, and Ghaziabad. It said it covers nearly 50 pin codes and delivers more than 80% of its orders within 15 minutes.
Swish’s kitchens use dedicated preparation, cooking, and assembly stations, along with automated equipment. The company claimed that its kitchens process thousands of orders a day, with an average preparation time of under four minutes.
Its menu has expanded to more than 250 stock-keeping units (SKUs) across over 20 food categories. According to the startup, lunch and dinner have overtaken snacks and late-night orders as its biggest consumption occasions.
Swish cofounder and CEO Aniket Shah said the company intends to make quick food delivery available to 100 Mn consumers.
The latest funding comes less than six months after Swish raised $38 Mn in a Series B round led by Hara Global and Bain Capital Ventures. Accel also participated in the round, while Alteria Capital and Stride Ventures provided venture debt.
Including the latest round, Swish has raised $78 Mn in external funding to date.
The fundraise comes even as the viability of ultra-fast food delivery remains under scrutiny, with several companies recalibrating their operations in the segment.
Deep-pocketed quick commerce players have also experimented with the segment. Blinkit operates Bistro, while Zepto runs Zepto Cafe.
