Live WireCent Raises $15 Mn To Scale AI-Led Preventive Healthcare Platform
This is worth watching because it affects how founders, investors, and operators read the next business cycle.

Cent raised $15 Mn in a Series A round led by Blume Ventures and South Park Commons, alongside acquiring AI radiology startup Medsee
The fundraise comes months after the startup was launched by Practo cofounder Shashank ND after raising $Mn in seed funding
The fresh capital will be deployed towards R&D, and expanding its AI, engineering and clinical teams
The fresh capital will be deployed to strengthen the preventive healthcare startup’s R&D function. Besides, the startup also intends to expand its AI, engineering and clinical teams.
Apart from the fundraise, Cent also announced the acquisition of Medsee, an AI-powered radiology reporting workflow platform, to help it deliver faster and more consistent reporting as scan volumes increase.
Cent was launched by Shashank, along with ex-Ola Electric CMO Anshul Khandelwal and former Lenskart product head Arpit Garg earlier this year. It last raised a $5 Mn seed funding round back then from OneFlow Holdings and South Park Commons.
Bidding to build a positioning of helping users live a hundred years, Cent combines precision radiology, AI, and biomarkers to screen asymptomatic patients for over 300 conditions like cardiac disease, cancer, and neurological disorders.
Its flagship offering, Cent Check, combines full-body MRI, low-dose CT, DEXA scans, ECG, echocardiography in a single visit lasting around two hours. Its proprietary CCNM protocol is designed to assess cancer, cardiac, neurological and metabolic health risks.
It uses AI to consolidate findings from different diagnostic modalities and generate organ-level risk assessments, while AI-assisted imaging helps reduce MRI scan times, with an aim to identify serious conditions before symptoms begin to surface.
Its comprehensive health screening package is priced at ₹27,500, positioning itself as an alternative to conventional preventive health checkups that largely rely on blood tests and limited imaging.
The startup said it has completed 10,000 preventive whole-body scans across Bengaluru, Mumbai and Delhi NCR since inception. It aims to scale this to 1 Cr scans by 2035.
Cent plans to use the data generated through its scans to establish health baselines for asymptomatic Indians, train models to identify disease risks earlier and support clinical research.
